Solihull Fireworks Ltd General Terms and Conditions of Sale.


General. All products sold by the company are subject to the following terms and conditions. No variation to these terms and conditions will be accepted unless previously agreed in writing by an authorised officer of our company. All correspondence should be addressed to the company at the address on this order form.


Prices. All prices quoted are based on current costs, transport and currency conversion rates. If at any time prior to delivery there occurs any increase in any of these costs the price payable may be increased.


Payment. Minimum product order is £100.00. Unless credit terms have been agreed payment in full must be made prior to the products being delivered. Payment can be made by cash, BACS transfer, credit card (Mastercard or VISA), debit card (Switch or Solo) or cheque with order, alternatively payment must be made upon receipt of invoice.


Carriage. A carriage charge of £30 is payable on all orders. (Some orders can be collected direct from our shop – please check availability) Deliveries to some areas of Scotland should be checked first as there may be additional charges.



Deliveries cannot be left at the delivery address without a valid signature. Deliveries will be made to the address on the order between 9am and 5pm on Monday to Friday, it is the customers responsibility to ensure that someone is at the address between these times to take delivery. A charge may be made where a delivery has been attempted and refused through no fault of our own or our carriers. Where a delivery has been attempted and not made the goods will be returned to us, goods will not automatically be re-delivered. Deliveries for displays on or around November 5th will commence from October 1st. Deliveries required at any other time of the year will be made, where possible, at least seven days prior to the event.


Claims. On delivery of the goods please check the number of boxes and inspect them for any signs of damage before signing for them. Any shortages or damage must be noted on the carrier’s documents. All claims for shortages or damage must be notified to the company within 48 hours of receipt of the goods.


Collections. Collections can be made by prior appointment.


Quality. All products sold by us in our brochure are tested for conformity to British Standard 7114. They are supplied on the condition that they will only be used strictly in accordance with the manufacturers instructions supplied on them, and in compliance with the leaflet “SAFETY AND FIRING INSTRUCTIONS” supplied in the packs. The company reserves the right to substitute any items which are not available. Any such substitutions will be made to an equivalent or greater value.


Guarantee. Where applicable the company complies with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, in that it offers a seven day cancellation period from the date of receipt of the goods by the customer. In the event of a cancellation the customer must notify us in writing to our head office at 353 Haslucks Green Road, Shirley, Solihull, West Midlands, B90 2NG. Fireworks are hazardous goods and as such can only returned to us by a specialised carrier. Upon receipt of written cancellation the company will notify the customer of how and when the goods are to be collected. In the event of cancellation a charge equal to the cost to the company of recovering the goods will be made to the customer.
